Rental Information
Rental periods are flexible. Over Christmas there is a minimum 2 week rental period. The house has 3 double, en-suite rooms
• One master bedroom with double Lamu bed and en-suite shower and bath
• One twin bedroom with 2 single Lamu beds next to each other with en-suite shower
• One double bedroom with 1 double bed and en-suite shower
• There is a shower room and separate w.c. next to the study/tv room.
• All bedrooms have mosquito nets.
Our cook, Charles, lives on-site in the staff quarters. Charles is an excellent cook and can prepare a variety of dishes, both Africa and European. Fish dishes are a speciality with fresh fish and seafood readily available from the local fisherman who delivers to the house if requested. Charles can organise this for you. Charles can also make fresh bread for you daily. Stanley and Festus maintain the house, garden and pool.
Cheese, yoghurt and milk can be bought at the Farm Shop which is situated on the main Mombasa-Kilifi road about 5k from the house. Charles can advise you to where to buy food and local produce. The rental rate includes, gas, electricity, water, linen, towels, (not beach towels) and laundry. Guests are responsible for buying food and drink.
Available on request is satellite TV (Dstv), which has a good range of channels including Cartoon Network for kids. The house has mains water and electricity.
